Our region is also famous for its food and drink and has many high quality restaurants and wine cellars for you to taste the local specialities: fouace ( traditional bread), plum paté, Loire river fish, and local wines (Anjou Village, Quart de Chaumes….)
The nearby towns of Angers, Cholet and Saumur are well worth a visit. As you walk through their streets you will discover useums, old churches and houses and quarters dating back to the middle ages. And of course you’ll be able to shop for souvenirs and even bring back a few bargains from the discount factory outlets open all year round in the area.
